"How did you pay for your trip?" HONESTLY. No judgement, just sheer curiosity. Also, did you fight with your husband on the way to the airport? These are the real questions that need answers.
Andy shouted, "WHY IS NOTHING WORKING?" when we ran into issues at the curbside check-in. We hadn't even gotten inside the airport. 😵💫 Thankfully, the guy helping us clearly had experience with stressed-out travelers, and he was so patient and helpful. Andy gave him a huge tip. 😅
This is such a great idea!! I truly lol’ed at that screenshot about the deodorant. I love Paris so much but whew! Sometimes! 🙊 Also, the story about your eyes—I love how helpful European pharmacies are! They’ve really come in clutch on more than one occasion!
I’d love to share about our trips, like our spring break in the Côte d’Azur and Chiavari, Italy or our summer roadtrip to Slovenia and Croatia last year if you’re interested!
I am SO SO happy you are doing this series!! And always take the robe pic! There is no luxury like hotel robe luxury! Love the questions, love the photos, love it ALL!
Also-I don’t know how to DM on Substack 🤦♀️ anyway-last week I came back from my first ever big-solo-40th birthday-post-terrible-year walk through the Cotswolds in England. It was a fantastic trip and I love thinking about your questions and would be happy to do a Trip Report ❤️
I am OBSESSED with this idea!! We’re going on an extended family trip to Vancouver Island in June! My little family of five, my parents, both my brothers, my sister-in-law, and my niece and nephew. I’d love to contribute! I’ll shoot you a DM when we get back.
I am so here for this! I want to write about our spring break trip because 1. I want to document it and 2. Because I think it’s interesting to see how big families travel and maybe other people are too?
I loved getting a peek into all the details! I love traveling and trip planning. But I always have an experience like you described--so much anxiety and dread right before the trip, but once I'm at the airport, I go into travel mode and I'm totally fine! (Also, as an Enneagram 1, I feel like I go to 7 while traveling, which is a relief.) Also, randomly, I can relate to your dry eye experience. That has happened to me a few times, always in the spring, and last time it happened we were on a little weekend getaway and it almost ruined it. :( I'm glad it didn't get too bad for you (and that you had your glasses!).
These are the questions the people are here for!!! Also I’ve never clicked a link faster than the SnoreRx…. You already know I have a lot to say about our Paris trip 🤣
This is such a great idea, and I loved reading your responses. We are going on a trip to Atlanta in a couple of weeks, but I don't think that will be nearly as interesting. Also, thanks for mentioning the SnoreRx; I'm the snorer in the house, and I have never heard of this!
I love this! Can you plan my trip to Europe? (Whenever I go.) Haha.
Only if I get to come with you. ;)
Yesss! Exhale Takes Europe!

What a great idea for a series! I do not enjoy trip planning, but I love reading about other people’s plans!
Thank you!!
